Winners of the 2023 Epicure of the Year Award

French delicatessen category

Seven awards, including two new ones in the Opening of the Year and Ecoresponsible categories, and a "Coup de Coeur": the 2023 prize list reflects the delicatessen offering in France today. Qualitative, varied and committed.

Located in the heart of the Arcachon summer town's commercial center, this store was created in 2016 by Thierry Subra. "I place great importance on the origin of products. I mainly work with houses that blend old flavors and new trends to create unique moments of sharing, around original and tasty products. I work hand in hand with artisans from the South-West and the Arcachon Basin." Sweet and savoury groceries, cellars and gifts: La Bourriche du Bassin offers a complete range of creations based on fine products unearthed during the travels and encounters of the fine grocer. Sweet and savoury groceries, a wide range of spices, olive oils and spirits, as well as household linen, artisanal products and top-of-the-range cutlery, the boutique welcomes customers every day, even on Sundays.

Épicerie du Porche in Acigné (35) and Les Goûts et les Couleurs in Beaupréau-en-Mauges (49) took 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
