Santa Rosa

A fine Arabica grown in the shade between 1,400 and 1,700 meters above sea level in Peru's northern Chanchamayo province. Hand-harvested and sorted between April and September, it is naturally dried on a slab in its cherry for three weeks, then under glass for several months, during which the cherry's aromas concentrate in the bean as it ferments. Fairly-traded, it is purchased directly from producers grouped under the SPP label, guaranteeing that prices are not negotiated. In the cup, this organic and fair-trade grand cru delivers a beautiful aromatic complexity with good length on the palate. Ideal for espresso, Italian-style or siphon.
